How It Works
Our first meeting will be a 1-1/2 to 2 hour in-home consultation. First, we will discuss what you envision for your space and what you do and don't like. Then we will tour your space while I take notes. Afterwards, we will discuss some possibilities for the space and I will tell you what I can do for you. If you like to do things yourself, I can provide you with a hard copy of my recommendations and you can carry out the tasks yourself. If you prefer NBI to be involved in the redecorating process, you'll sign an agreement and I will begin to work on the design plan.
REVIEWING THE DESIGN PROPOSAL
At our next meeting, I will provide you with a design plan tailored to you. The plan will include either floor plans, a mood board or renderings, color palettes and material samples. If you want to make any changes, we'll discuss them at this time. Once you approve of the work to be done, we'll go on to the next step.
THE WORK BEGINS
Let's get started working! This could be as simple as rearranging furniture and accessories. If there are materials or items to be bought, I will shop with you or for you, all the while keeping within your budget and your preferences. Or, if there is more to be done such as painting walls or installing flooring, I will suggest the best affordable subcontractors for you to hire, and make sure they get the work done right. When everything is completed, we'll do one final walkthrough to make sure you are completely satisfied.
THE WORK IS DONE - CELEBRATE!
